Bobingen - Thailand's Indorama Ventures PCL (IVL), and Italy's Sinterama are to acquire Trevira's polyester staple fibre and specialty filament businesses through a new joint venture company.
Under the agreement, IVL will hold 75% and Sinterama, 25% of the shares of the company which is expected to remain a major supplier to the global knitting industry.
