Belper - UK hosiery manufacturer Courtaulds
has invested in five new Universal Pick & Place machines from Italian
machine builder Santoni.
Over the last four years, Courtaulds, which
operates brands such as Aristoc, Pretty Polly and Elbeo, has increased its
production of high-quality hosiery from 20,000 dozen pairs per week to nearly
60,000 dozen. The installation of the new Pick & Place systems, adding to
the three systems it already operates, is expected to help the company in terms
of both production efficiency and cost control as it continues to expand.
