Shanghai - Dr. Masahiro Shima took time out
of his busy schedule at last week?s ITMA Asia + CITME exhibition to explain to
Knitting Trade Journal how Shima Seiki?s latest technological developments have
been influenced by the global events of the last 18 months.
The company has developed a new coarse gauge knitting machine which has been designed to produce the additional emphasis on fabric texture and feel normally associated with traditionally hand-knitted low-gauge knitwear.
