Obertshausen - Warp knitting machine builder Karl Mayer says it has set a new speed record for its HKS 2-SE which is used for the production of stretch tricot fabrics.
The current version of the HKS 2-3 E which is equipped with lightweight CFP components, achieved speeds of 4,000 min-1. However, a series of modifications has seen this speed increase of 4,400 min-1, significantly increasing productivity levels.
