Wakefield – All four publications under the MCL News & Media banner will come together to produce the 2019 edition of the Green Guide to ITMA, following on from the success of previous incarnations that were distributed at the show.

Ecotextile News, T.EVO, Knitting Trade Journal and Sustainable Nonwovens will provide content for the A5 pocket-sized guide, which is designed for visitors to ITMA to evaluate textile machinery builders and associated suppliers that are offering more ‘sustainable’ products.

It will be handed out free of charge to visitors at the MCL booth in Hall 3, Stand C102 and delegates to the Planet Textiles 2019 event in Barcelona will also be able to get a free copy.

The guide is a booth-by-booth guide to companies who are launching new textile technology related to environmental innovation at the show, providing background and context on new technology launches and details on where you can find them at the show.

The guide is split into sections based on technology and will feature new technical innovations in knitting, dyeing and finishing, yarn preparation, recycling, weaving, spinning and fibres.

Also covered are topics such as: water footprint; waste; energy and climate; chemistry and raw materials.

A glossary is included in the guide, defining words and phrases which visitors to ITMA will find useful.

Will you be exhibiting at ITMA in Barcelona? If so, feel free to drop us an email detailing your latest technology. We’ll submit this to our editorial advisory panel for potential inclusion in our Green Guide.

ITMA 2019 takes place June 20–26 at the Fira de Barcelona, in Gran Via, Barcelona, Spain. Planet Textiles takes place at the same venue June 22nd.
