Ghent - Domo Chemicals, the Belgian producer of high-quality engineering materials has been awarded the prestigious EcoVadis Gold rating, highlighting its progressive approach to sustainability.

With a 13-point improvement over last year, Domo now ranks in the top 5% of all companies rated by EcoVadis.

Domo says its latest Gold rating demonstrates its commitment to shared values, fostering long-term and trusted partnerships with its suppliers and customers.

For example, ITW Automotive, a Fortune 200 manufacturer of automotive plastic components and an avid user of Domo's sustainable Technyl 4Earth polyamides, applauded Domo for achieving the EcoVadis Gold rating, underscoring the partners' shared values and commitment to sustainable supply chains.

Yves Bonte, CEO of Domo Chemicals, further commented: "This award is a testament to our unwavering commitment to sustainability. In one year, we have moved from the top 25% to the top 5%, placing Domo among the best in the industry. This demonstrates our commitment to our ambitious 2030 agenda to be the industry benchmark in sustainability."

The latest rating shows that Domo moved from 73rd to 94th percentile in the overall EcoVadis sustainability rating to the top 5%, and made considerable progress in all pillars, with particular strengths in environment and labour & human rights.
