Bergamo - Italian knitting mills Carvico SpA and Jersey Lomellina SpA will exhibit at a major Chinese lingerie and casualwear exhibition in China later this month.

The warp knit and circular knit fabric specialists will feature at Siuf 2021, which will be held in Shenzen from April 19 to April 21, 2021.

Featuring over 825 exhibitors coming from more than 27 different countries, Siuf is a key event in Asia for trendy underwear, lingerie, beachwear, athleisure, body shapewear and loungewear.

Carvico and Jersey Lomellina, International have become synonymous with Made in Italy quality and will use the exhibition to show a wide selection of innovative, high performance and eco-sustainable products designed to satisfy the needs of both brands and retailers.

Among Carvico stretch warp knit fabrics will be Ibiza, the new embossed fabric with a vintage and elegant appearance, whereas Jersey Lomellina will offer its Renew Bubble e Renew Folk, described as both environmentally friendly and ultra-fashionable.

Renew consists of a blend of 35 per cent Econyl regenerated nylon and 65 per cent recycled polyamide. It is designed to ensure a perfect fit and boasts both an efficient shape retention power over time and the correct muscular compression, due also to its high modulus. Thanks to its elastic memory, it doesn’t curl when used for the creation of comfortable, free cut, seamless items.

Carvico's Ibiza fabric is a 93 per cent polyamide/7 per cent Econyl bi-elastic fabric offering two way stretch with the ability to embrace and enhance any type of silhouette. Ideal for the creation of trendy, fashionable beachwear, Ibiza was designed to evoke the atmosphere of the roaring ’50s and to meet the requirements of all women, from the youngest to the most mature ones.

"Made in Italy, high-end, high performance, and extreme care for the details are the key words characterizing our businesses’ elegant and innovative collections which are bound to become the real must have of the fair," the companies said.
