Brescia - Santoni?s latest warp knitting technology, the SWD will be a key attraction at the company?s Open House event later this month. Watch the machine in action here.
The SWD 6/2J six bar machine and SWD4/2J four bar machines, which are now in full production, are electronic compact warp knitting machines suitable for the production of seamless garments including pantyhose, underwear and outerwear.
The SWD machines will be a key part of event which will illustrate how the emphasis of seamless technology has shifted from being based around the production of underwear to now include a wide variety of sportswear, technical clothing and knitted outerwear.{youtubejw}0-ocEt_j9jY{/youtubejw}
Santoni, and its parent company, Lonati Group will hold their Open House events from 26 to 29 September, 2012 in Brescia, Italy.
There will be a complete range of Santoni machines on display including seamless, warp and large diameter circular knitting machines. This will be complemented by exhibits from Mec-Mor, Tecnopea, Sangiacomo and Matec sock machines.
The Lonati company will be displaying its full range of sock knitting machines at the same time at its nearby headquarters.
Elsewhere, Santoni will also show samples of its collection at the FIMAST exhibition which also takes place on the same days at the Brescia Exhibition Centre.
Here a special area has been dedicated to innovation and trends where the garments knitted on Santoni machines with the contribution of customers and partners, trade marks, stylists, yarn Producers, will illustrate how the company?s commitment to meeting the latest demands of the clothing industry.
