Piatra Neamt - Shima Seiki is responding to the growing market for knitwear production in Eastern Europe with a private show in Romania in February.
The show will be organised by Shima Seiki Italia Spa., the company's Italian subsidiary alongside Romanian sales agent Knit-Tex Rom S.R.L., in the textile production region near Piatra Neamt from 18-21 February.
On display will be a comprehensive lineup of Shima Seiki?s computerized flat knitting machines including the latest industry standard SVR122 workhorse machine and SIR123 intarsia machine, as well as a line of coarse gauge offerings: NSES122CS and NSSG122. Also on show will be the new SRY123LP machine featuring loop presser beds with inlay capability, offering new and exciting knit-textile hybrid fabrics never before possible. The SWG041N compact WholeGarment machine will also be on display.
Demonstrations will be held on the SDS-ONE APEX3 3D design system that is at the core of Shima Seiki?s ?Total Knitting System? concept. With support of all aspects throughout the knit supply chain, APEX3 integrates knit production into one smooth and efficient workflow from planning and design to machine programming, production and even sales promotion.
Especially effective is APEX3?s capability to improve on the planning process through the use of Virtual Sampling. Photo-realistic simulation capability minimizes the need for sample-making, effectively reducing time, material and cost from the sampling process.
