Wegberg - The International Federation of Knitting Technologists has appointed a new president for its United States National Section.
Hitesh Kumar Sharma, Knitting Technologist, has been with the organization since 1999 and has more than 25 years of working experience in the knitting sector.
During that time he has worked in a senior techno-management position in global multinational companies in USA, Canada, ltaly and North lndia.
Confirming the appointment, the IFKT said that the number of USA and Canada national sections members had been gradually increasing as a result of Mr Sharma's presence in the organization. "We believe that, with his familiarity with knitting sector in a wide North America (US/Canada) perspective, he will be a great asset to IFKT," the IFKT said in a statement.
