Paris - Blossom Première Vision, the show dedicated to the pre-collections of creative, high-end and luxury fashion and accessories brands, will return with a new, entirely in-person edition on December 6 and 7 at the Carreau du Temple in Paris.
Regarded as the first professional event of the Spring-Summer 23 season for the international fashion industry, Blossom Première Vision is aligned with the pre-collections calendar, and complements the Première Vision Paris calendar, which targets the main collections.
At Blossom, nearly 110 suppliers of fabrics, leathers and accessories will present their exclusive collections and developments for Spring Summer 23. As with all Première Vision shows, these exhibitors have been selected by a Selection Committee on the basis of their know-hows, and both the quality and creativity of their products.
Central to their offer of new products and innovations, the development of sustainable materials and production processes are playing an increasingly important role each season.
Welcoming the return of this key show, Gilles Lasbordes, managing director of Première Vision, said that the return to a physical edition was key for both exhibitors and visitors. "For the past 18 months, the health situation has limited or even prohibited gatherings," he said. "Now we finally have the chance to see each other! It’s time to talk in-person again, to discover and touch the collections that the most creative fabric, accessory and leather manufacturers are preparing."
Lasbordes also noted that the showcase selection was a creative rendezvous for premium and luxury brands seeking materials to prepare their pre-collections. "We feel that buyers need an industry event early in the season," he added. "We’ll be paying attention to how the collection process at creative fashion brands evolves, and to any possible changes once the crisis is over."
Following Blossom Première Vision, the company is returning to an almost normal show calendar for all of 2022 – Paris, Milan, New York, Portland, Shenzhen. The two major new initiatives for the coming year are the first edition of Denim Première Vision in Berlin, in May, and the new, changed date of Première Vision Paris, which will be held on July 5, 6 and 7, 2022, departing from its usual September date.
