Sustainable investment pays dividends for Gildan

Montreal - Activewear giant Gildan has reported leap in first quarter earnings to US$146.4 million, up from $98.5 million in the same period last year, boosted, the company said, by its investments in it Sustainable Growth (GSG) strategy and its vertically-integrated manufacturing platform, particularly in Central America, the Caribbean and Bangladesh.
