Lycra teams up with Dairen on bio-based fibres

Wilmington - The Lycra Company has signed a letter of intent with Dairen Chemical Corporation (DCC) to convert Qira, the next generation of 1,4-butanediol (BDO), into low-impact PTMEG, the key ingredient in patented, bio-derived Lycra fibre.
