Gildan board resigns, sale process ceased

Montreal – The boardroom level turmoil at Gildan Activewear continued this week with the resignation of the full board of directors and Vince Tyra stepping down as president and chief executive officer with immediate effect.
The mass resignations at the under-fire casualwear giant mean the board has also ceased ongoing discussions regarding the previously announced sale process.
