Hyosung teams up with Ambercycle on circular polyester

Seoul – Hyosung, the world’s largest elastane manufacturer, has partnered with US materials science company Ambercycle to become the first manufacturer in South Korea to introduce a textile-to-textile, circular polyester into supply chains.
Hyosung said its use of Ambercycle’s molecular regeneration technology for its Cycora-branded recycled polyester will add to its portfolio of sustainable fibres which includes its Regen brand of recycled products.
