India knitwear hub facing huge tariff impact

Tamil Nadu - Tirupur, often regarded as the knitwear hub of India, could lose up to $1.62 billion worth of business following the imposition of a 50 per cent tariff on Indian exports to the United States, a state government minister has warned.
