Amsterdam – Fashion for Good has launched a collaborative project aimed at accelerating the adoption of bio-based and recycled elastane solutions that are compatible with circular knitwear systems.
The Stretching Circularity project will pilot-test lower-impact stretch materials and regenerated elastane in real garments, with the goal of making stretch knits compatible with large-scale fibre-to-fibre recycling and removing one of the most significant technical barriers to a circular textile economy.
