Cellulose fibre producer returns to positive earnings as performance programme and capacity investment take effect

Lenzing - Lenzing Group has reported net profit after tax of €24 million for the first quarter of 2026, marking a return to positive territory following three consecutive quarters of losses in 2025.

The Lenzing, Austria-based producer of cellulosic fibres for textile and nonwovens applications recorded revenue of €615.7 million, down 10.8% year-on-year, with EBITDA of €116.3 million.
