AbTF expands cashmere welfare programme

The Aid by Trade Foundation is extending its animal welfare project across more farms and regions under The Good Cashmere Standard

Munich - The Aid by Trade Foundation (AbTF) is reporting growth for its Animal-related Animal Welfare Assessment (ARAWA) project in 2025 alongside independent verifications under The Good Cashmere Standard (GCS), with the work centred on cashmere goat herds in Inner Mongolia.

The foundation says the programme is being expanded and will be developed further by 2027.
