Sale of HanesBrands Australia aligns with Gildan’s integration strategy and debt reduction plans, with implications for knit apparel sourcing and brand support across Asia-Pacific

Montreal - Gildan Activewear has agreed to sell HanesBrands Australia (HAA) for an enterprise valuation of approximately AU$700 million (around US$490 million), with completion targeted for the second half of 2026.

HanesBrands Australia is a key regional platform for underwear, hosiery and everyday knit apparel, supplying branded and private-label products across retail and online channels in Australia and neighbouring markets.
