Albstadt/Istanbul - Textile systems supplier Groz Beckert welcomed more than 2,000 to its booth during the recent ITM exhibition.
The company had a wide range of its knitting systems on display with the supplier of industrial machine needles also showcasing the products and services of its Weaving, Nonwovens and Carding product sectors to a range of international visitors.
With a share of 89 per cent, most of the visitors to the Groz Beckert booth were from Turkey with the second largest group coming from Uzbekistan and the third from Iran.
The Knitting product area put the emphasis on the interaction of needles and system parts. Transparent knitting and warp knitting machines gave the visitors unique insights into the interplay of all components.
The "CircularKnit" exhibit demonstrated the productivity and variety of the Groz-Beckert product range by presenting the interplay between cylinder, needles and system parts for different technologies.
The exhibit for the flat knitting segment visualized eight different flat knitting technologies from gauge E2.5 to E18 showing the range of uses of Groz Beckert products, including for processing challenging materials. Two other "transparent" machines from the legwear and warp knitting fields rounded off the product presentation with each of the four acrylic glass machines consisting of individually removable elements for detailed viewing.
A further special highlight at the booth was the live presentation of the online Customer Portal Knitting, which offers an enhanced digital product catalogue as well as further information about the Knitting technologies. The platform is also equipped with an easily accessible, constantly growing knowledge database.
