Gildan cautious over supply chain squeeze

Montreal - Gildan Activewear has sounded a note of caution over supply chain issues, particularly with regard to labour shortages, transportation and raw material inputs.
Reporting a return to profit for its second quarter, the activewear and hosiery giant said it was closely monitoring issues in both North America and on a wider global scale that were creating inflationary pressure, but that it remained 'cautiously optimistic'.
