Loro Piana opens vertically integrated knitwear centre

Milan - Loro Piana has opened a new knitwear centre in Ghemme, Piedmont, Italy, bringing fully knitted garment production, skills development and training into a single manufacturing site.

Known as Loro Piana Ghemme, the centre is intended to strengthen the company’s vertical integration by bringing the production cycle together, from yarn development through to finished garments. The project has been developed over three years.
