Partnership targets 70,000 tonnes of recycled polyester for knits and home applications by 2030

Syre

Stockholm - Syre has expanded its collaboration with US retailer Target to accelerate the commercial adoption of textile-to-textile recycled polyester, with a focus on integrating circular materials into high-volume knitted apparel and home textile categories.

The Stockholm-based company specialises in chemical recycling processes that convert end-of-life polyester textiles into new fibre-grade raw material. The agreement is expected to support the production of 70,000 tonnes of recycled polyester, with product integration planned across Target’s supply chain by 2030.
