AWI heralds ‘wool for knitwear’ revival

Sydney - Trends at recent tradeshows and an upsurge in the use of woollen yarns
are in line with its predictions for knitwear, says the AWI.

According to the organisation?s chief
executive officer Brenda McGahan, the forecast for a wool revival for knitwear manufactures
has validated the company?s product development strategy of recent years.
