Karl Mayer launches new yarn tensioner

Obertshausen - As the use of fine glass filaments increases in line with the growing demand for electronic components, Germany?s Karl Mayer has developed a new yarn tensioner in its AccuTense range.
The yarns in question, which have a high elastic modulus, are used in the reinforcement layers of circuit boards. Demand for them is particularly high in Asia, where they are being processed in increasing volumes.
