Burgdorf - Sanitized AG, the Swiss-based specialist in antimicrobial hygiene function for textiles and polymers, increasingly used in the knitted mattress ticking sector as well as socks, sportswear and innerwear, is re-organsing the structure of its European business.
From now on European customers will be supplied by Sanitized (Europe) in Mulhouse, France. This means short distances and quick response times for all orders, the company says, adding that customers will continue to receive technical advice, development support, quality control and marketing services directly from the parent company Sanitized AG in Burgdorf, Switzerland.
Sanitized antimicrobials are designed to protect clothing against unsightly stains and bad odour development caused by microbes such as bacteria and fungi, which may affect rain wear, protective wear, shoes, boots, slippers, gloves and other items.
Heinz Studer, Sales Manager at Sanitized points out that in all applications, Sanitized products are integrated during the manufacturing process and are thus permanently fixed. ?The worldwide market for antimicrobial coatings is expected to grow strongly in the coming years," he said. "There is a growing need for antimicrobial solutions ? and as a pioneer of hygiene function, Sanitized AG strives to continuously improve its products and application processes."
In 2013 Sanitized signed a co-branding agreement and licensing program with Thai Acrylic Fibre Co. for Amicor fibres which are increasingly used in a the knitted mattress ticking sector as well as socks, sportswear and innerwear.
