Ascend submission covers knitted facemasks

Houston - Ascend Performance Materials has submitted a 510(k) premarket notification for clearance to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to market its Acteev technology in a pair of high-efficacy surgical masks, including those made with knitted fabrics, to protect against SARS-CoV-2, the cause of Covid-19.
