Bangladesh eases import rules for specialised knits

Dhaka – Bangladesh has relaxed import rules covering specialised knit fabrics, yarns and other apparel inputs, removing a previous Ministry of Commerce approval requirement for certain imports.

The changes form part of an amendment to the country’s Import Policy Order 2026–2029, issued by the Ministry of Commerce last week and effective immediately.
