Hosiery boosts UK lingerie market

lingerie market reached a value of ?2.8 billion in 2009, representing a 16.1%
increase since 2005, according to a new report.

?Covering corsetry, lingerie and hosiery,
the report, Lingerie Market Report 2010 from Research and Markets, also said
the sector had performed well over the review period (2005 to 2009), and has
withstood the sharp declines experienced by many retail sectors during the
recession.
