Scottish knitwear firms focus on strong export growth

Hawick - Scottish knitwear firms received a boost this week with news that the country?s textile industry has exceeded sales levels it didn?t expect to hit for at least another seven years, prompting the outlining of a new set of targets.
Importantly, these latest figures recognise the gains in international trade which see the industry on course to achieving a 50 per cent increase in exports by 2017.
