Bangladesh exports slump as Vietnam hits top spot

Washington DC - Vietnam overtook China to become the largest exporter of ready-made garments to the key United States market in the first four months of 2024.
The latest figures from the US Department of Commerce’s Office of Textiles and Apparel also show that exports from Bangladesh slumped between January and April.
