KTJ talks to Karl Mayer CEO Lutz Wolf about speed, customer value and brand‑driven innovation

Karl Mayer’s new CEO, Lutz Wolf

Obertshausen - Karl Mayer’s new CEO, Lutz Wolf has joined the company at what many would call a very challenging moment – not just for warp knitting, but for the textile industry as a whole.

As we sit in the offices and creative spaces of the new Textile Innovation Centre, Wolf, begins our conversation by outlining how the warp knitting machine builder is responding to this challenge. “We are focusing the whole organisation on two main things,” he says. “We have put a strategy in place, and the two main pillars we are promoting are customer value and innovation power.”
