Smart glove knitted with conductive yarns and sensors highlights Steiger’s 3D knitting capabilities at Techtextil

The glove integrates advanced 3D knitting techniques

Frankfurt - Steiger used Techtextil to present a fully integrated smart glove that combines flat knitting technology with embedded electronics for industrial and wearable applications.

Developed as a technical demonstrator, the glove integrates advanced 3D knitting with conductive yarns and sensors to create a seamless interface between the textile structure and electronic functions. The concept targets applications where hand protection, data capture, and gesture control need to be combined in a single textile article.
