Munich - Shima Seiki has identified the sportswear market has an ideal application area for its WholeGarment technology
Shima Seiki, together with its Italian subsidiary Shima Seiki Italia, made its debut at February's ISPO with its attendance inspired by the possible wide-ranging applications for WholeGarment technology in the sportswear field.
Speaking to Knitting Trade Journal during the show, Masayuki Takenaka, Assistant manager, Global Sales Group, outlined how the Japanese computerized knitting machine manufacturer saw the huge potential for 'revolutionary' compression wear that can be produced on the company's flat knitting machines.
