Vietnam’s knitted textile and garment industry is expanding automation, AI and environmental investment as it targets exports rise
Hanoi - Vietnam’s textile and garment industry is targeting export turnover of US$47–47.5 billion in 2026, supported by market diversification, increased automation and investment in green production.
Preliminary figures showed export turnover had reached US$33.66 billion by 15 September, according to the Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association (VITAS).
